Welcome to Scima Molds. By using our website www.scimamolds.com and purchasing products from us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read these terms carefully before completing any order.

1. Products
 

All products sold by Scima Molds are manufactured using food-contact materials suitable for their intended use.

We provide a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects on silicone molds, provided that the products are used, cleaned, stored, and maintained according to the instructions supplied by Scima Molds.

The warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, improper handling, excessive force, unauthorized modifications, normal wear and tear, accidental damage, or use outside the intended purpose of the product.

2. Order Process & Payment

By placing an order through our Site, you confirm that all information provided, including billing, shipping, and payment details, is accurate and complete.

We accept payments through PayPal, credit cards, bank transfers, and other payment methods displayed on our website.

Orders are processed only after payment has been successfully received and confirmed.

Scima Molds reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order at its sole discretion, including cases involving pricing errors, suspected fraud, or product availability issues.
Custom-made products require a production time of 10 business days from order confirmation and payment, before shipping. Complex custom projects, metal components, or special production requirements may require additional time, which will be communicated to the customer in advance. Scima Molds reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order at its sole discretion, including cases involving pricing errors, suspected fraud, or product availability issues.

3. Shipping & Delivery

We ship worldwide, except to countries or regions where shipping services are unavailable, restricted, or affected by conflict or sanctions.
Custom-made products are shipped only after the 10-business-day production period has been completed. Standard (in-stock) products are shipped separately according to our standard processing times.

While we make every effort to dispatch orders within the estimated timeframe, delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Scima Molds shall not be liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Customs inspections or delays

• Weather conditions

• Transportation disruptions

• Postal or courier service interruptions

• Strikes

• Government actions

Risk of loss and ownership of products transfer to the customer upon delivery to the shipping carrier.

4. Returns, Replacements & Exchanges

Custom Products

Products manufactured according to customer specifications, including custom logos, names, trademarks, designs, dimensions, or any other personalized features, are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Prior to production, Scima Molds may provide digital previews, renderings, drawings, or photographs for customer approval. Once approval has been granted and production has commenced, the order cannot be cancelled, returned, exchanged, or refunded.

Personalized Chef Tools

Chef tools, stamps, plating tools, cutters, or any other products engraved with a customer's name, logo, trademark, or personalized design are considered custom-made products and are therefore non-returnable and non-refundable.

Standard Products

For non-customized products purchased through our website, customers may request a return within 14 days of receiving the goods, provided that:

• The product has not been used.

• The product remains in its original packaging.

• The product is returned in the same condition in which it was received.

The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error on our part.

Damaged or Defective Products

If a product arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, customers must notify us within 7 days of delivery by contacting us at info@scimamolds.com and providing photographic evidence where applicable.

Upon verification, Scima Molds will, at its discretion, provide a replacement product or another appropriate solution.

Replacement Policy

Where a product qualifies under this section, Scima Molds will provide a replacement rather than a monetary refund. Each case will be reviewed individually based on the circumstances and supporting evidence provided by the customer.

5. Use of Website & Intellectual Property

All content available on the Site, including but not limited to:

• Product designs

• Images

• Photographs

• Logos

• Text

• Graphics

• CAD files

• Digital renderings

is the intellectual property of Scima Molds unless otherwise stated.

No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, published, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission from Scima Molds.

Unauthorized use may result in legal action under applicable intellectual property laws.

6. Limitation of Liability

Scima Molds shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use our products.

Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that products are suitable for their intended application and for following all instructions and recommendations provided.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

Customer Responsibility

It is the customer's responsibility to:

• Use products only for their intended purpose.

• Follow all care and usage instructions.

• Properly inspect products before use.

Scima Molds shall not be responsible for damages, losses, injuries, or claims resulting from improper use, misuse, modification, or unauthorized alterations of any product.

7. Force Majeure

Scima Molds shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations where such delay or failure results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters

• Floods

• Fires

• Pandemics

• Epidemics

• Government restrictions

• Labor disputes

• Transportation interruptions

• Utility failures

• War or civil unrest

8. Customs Duties & Taxes

For orders shipped outside the European Union, customers are solely responsible for any import duties, customs fees, taxes, brokerage charges, or other charges imposed by local authorities.

These charges are not included in the product price or shipping cost unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Customers are encouraged to contact their local customs office before placing an order to understand any applicable charges.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Greece.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms & Conditions, the use of the Site, or the purchase of products shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Greece.

10. Amendments

Scima Molds reserves the right to modify, update, or replace these Terms & Conditions at any time.

Any changes will become effective immediately upon publication on this page.

Continued use of the Site following any modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms & Conditions.

11. Acceptance of Terms

12. Digital Models

​

Digital renderings, CAD files, previews, and visual representations are provided for reference purposes only.

Minor variations may occur between digital representations and the final physical product due to manufacturing processes, material properties, production tolerances, finishing techniques, and other technical factors.

Such minor variations shall not be considered defects and do not constitute grounds for return, replacement, or refund.
